Welcome to my website. Here you can see the books I write, anthologies I edit and much more. There are separate sections for anthologies and writing and the Posts also include cookery, craft, gardening and the many joys of having a little garden.
After studying History at Edinburgh University and Ceramics at Goldsmith’s College, London, I went to work at Hatchards Bookshop, London, where I have remained, on and off, ever since. I have written for the National Trust and worked at the Chelsea and Hampton Court Palace Flower Shows. I now write on nature, gardening, cookery and craft and edit anthologies of poetry and prose. In between I garden, make patchworks and play with papier mâché.
I live in a small house in west London which has a small garden overflowing with plants. The even smaller summerhouse is where most things happen.
